Join us on October 13 from 1-3 pm for Second Saturdays at the Museum! Temperatures are dropping, which makes it the perfect time to bring out the quilts and get ready for fall. To celebrate the season and the Museum’s newest exhibit, Quilt National, the Fredericksburg Area Museum invites children and parents of all ages to explore the art of quilts by drawing inspiration from the beautiful quilts in the gallery and creating your own quilt squares masterpiece. Admission is FREE!
Second Saturdays at the Museum is a regularly scheduled family program that includes hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and an opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibits. The program is held on the second Saturday of each month, with varying topics and themes. Second Saturdays at the Museum is a FREE family program unless otherwise specified. Registration is not required except when noted. For additional information on this program, please contact Janelle Kennedy, [email protected], or 540-371-3037, ext. 142.
