"Bird's Eye View of Fredericksburg" is the signature painting of local artist Dale Glasgow. This painting, which highlights Fredericksburg and the surrounding area, is found in his Hartwood gallery. The gallery is currently open by appointment - please call first.
His work can be found in numerous books and publications including, National Geographic, Webster's Illustrated Dictionary and the Smithsonian Museum.
Bird's Eye View of Fredericksburg" was inspired by Edward Sachse’s 1856 painting of Fredericksburg. Fredericksburg's most historic sites are also a subject of many Glasgow paintings. The Bird's Eye View of Fredericksburg giclees and lithographs will be available at museums, print sellers and www.daleglasgow.com in the Winter of 2006.
