Shane Sheaffer Chef

Chef Shane Sheaffer is a graduate of J.S.R. Culinary School in Richmond, Virginia. During the course of his career he has made a name for himself by creating comfort food dishes including soups such as his Signature White Bean Chicken Chill. Over the past years Shane has gain a following for the Caroline Street Café Wine Dinners.

Chef Shane has developed menus to pair with wines from around the world. His talents can be tasted daily at Caroline Street Café where Chef Shane takes great pride in producing daily specials and cafè favorites, from his slow roasted rosemary encrusted top round to all the dressing his makes from scratch. Chef Shane resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia with his loving family: wife Angela, and his children, Matt, Rachael, and Noel.

 

Recipe: Fried Green Tomatoes
Ingredients:

6 large eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbl. Vanilla extract
2 cups ricotta cheese
2 1/2 cups AP Flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
Powdered sugar

Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla together. Add ricotta. Add flour and baking powder. Fry at 350° until golden brown. When cooked dust with powdered sugar.
