The Bowman Distillery continues the time-honored tradition of blending choice natural ingredients and the latest technology to produce its fine line of spirits which include Virginia Gentleman Bourbon, Bowman’s Vodka, Bowman’s Light and Bowman’s Gin.
The Bowman Distillery is located in a former cellophane manufacturing facility, now a shining example of historic preservation and adaptive reuse. In addition to being the home of our distillery, Bowman Center is a thriving industrial park and business center.

The Blue & Gray Brewing Co. opened in Fredericksburg on March 17, 2002. Before that, Fred Red Ale and the Blue & Gray Classic Lager were brewed at other microbreweries in Virginia. We listened to customer input and perfected our recipes before we opened in Fredericksburg. Blue & Gray Brewing Co. now offers Falmouth American Pale Ale and Stonewall Stout for a total of four flavors year round. We also offer Spiced Winter Ale for Thanksgiving through February, Chocolate Raspberry Stout for February and Virginia Hefeweizen Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Hartwood is an area long known for its heavy deer population. Hart is the Old English word for deer, and according to local legend is the basis for the area's name - and, in turn, the winery's logo. This 12-acre Stafford County farm winery offers free tours and tastings in scenic Hartwood. A gift shop on the premises offers a selection of Hartwood fine wines and wine-related items. Enjoy wine and cheese on Hartwood's front deck or around the winery grounds. Free Tours and tastings 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. No admission charge.
