The Fredericksburg Festival for the Performing Arts (FFPA) was established by community members in 1988. Our goal has been to present to the region the highest quality performances in theater, dance, and music. FFPA music performances include a highly diverse repertoire from classical to jazz to bluegrass. We are particularly proud of our outreach to children in our area with a variety of arts events. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts presenter, our programming is made possible through the efforts of our volunteers and the contributions from community-minded individuals and businesses, government grants and funds provided by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. Our showcase event each year is the Annual Chamber Music Festival guided by our artistic director Michael Reynolds.
