Friends of Chatham announces A walk in the garden fun-RAISER EVENT
Friends of Chatham will hold a benefit for the Gardens and Grounds of Chatham Manor on the grounds of Chatham Manor at 120 Chatham Lane, Fredericksburg on Sunday, September 29th from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
Celebrate the return of the statue of Diana to Chatham Manor, as you enjoy music performed by Broadway Star and local favorite Patrick A’Hearn, local Stafford high school musicians, and enjoy celebratory sparkling beverages and hors d’oeuvres by Catering by Dori Farrell.
With a spectacular walk through the garden and view of the City of Fredericksburg across the river, you can participate in a fun and unique once in a lifetime musical event at Chatham while helping to raise funds to help maintain the historic garden designed in the 1920’s by Ellen Biddle Shipman and its surrounding grounds.
Admission is $75 per person ($40 tax deductible). Proceeds from the event will support the ongoing mission of the Liz Thompson Memorial Fund for Chatham Gardens and Grounds, a fund created by Friends of Chatham in honor of member Liz Thompson, who was also a past President of The Rappahannock Valley Garden Club.
